Which Inner Bowl Finish Should I Order?

You may choose to have the inner bowl finished with GLOSS epoxy, MATTE epoxy, or left uncoated, depending on your desired appearance and maintenance preferences.

GLOSS Epoxy

Epoxy is a transparent, non-yellowing, waterproof resin coating applied to the inner bowl and polished top edge. It does not need to be reapplied.

Gloss epoxy creates a wet, highly polished appearance and may develop a soft patina over time as the sink is cleaned and polished.

MATTE Epoxy

Matte epoxy provides the same protective coating while creating a softer, more understated appearance. It is an excellent choice if you want the protection of epoxy without drawing attention to the coating.

Uncoated

Epoxy is not required. Uncoated sinks can be maintained using a combination of stone sealant spray, Howard's Butcher Block Mineral Oil, and clear disinfectant.

Epoxy is recommended for areas with hard water or where additional protection against staining is desired. Epoxy coating is an optional, non-refundable service.

Important Epoxy Finish Information

Matte and gloss epoxy finishes may slightly deepen the natural color of the stone compared with its original finish. This effect is subtle and can vary depending on lighting conditions and the unique characteristics of each piece.

Epoxy resin requires up to 36 hours to fully cure. When an epoxy finish is selected, an additional 3-day processing window is added to ensure the finish is completely cured and protected before shipment.

Installation Recommendations

For best installation results, we recommend using a drain assembly without overflow with a tube measuring approximately 1-1/2 inches.

Install the drain using plumber's putty.

The coordinating drain assemblies are included when selected in the appropriate listing variation.

Faucets and other items shown for staging purposes are not included.

Shipping

FREE U.S. DOMESTIC SHIPPING via UPS Ground. For upgraded or international shipping, please contact us or use the individual purchase links provided in the listing. We will credit the ground shipping cost and any applicable Etsy shipping overage after your purchase.

Each sink is carefully packaged using EPS foam, bubble wrap, paper, and a double-wall box. All shipments are fully insured.

In the unlikely event your sink arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and provide photos of the damaged sink, shipping box, packaging materials, and tracking label.

Please keep the original sink, box, packaging, and shipping materials until the claim is resolved. These items are required for the insurance claim and any replacement or refund.

Returns in original condition are gladly accepted when postmarked within 30 days of delivery confirmation.
